A Sacramento native now residing in Altadena, Ursula’s journey has been anything but ordinary. Trained in opera, she spent her twenties touring the south of Italy in a mule-drawn caravan, performing on the streets and singing Verdi under the summer stars. After returning to the States, she toured internationally for a decade with her acclaimed world music ensemble, Fishtank Ensemble, before settling down to enjoy family life with her husband and two children.

Today, Ursula continues to enchant audiences through her vintage French music group Belle Affaire and avant-garde cabaret duo NOW Music. At Fable & Fare, she’ll share both her music and her cuisine, preparing a traditional French meal of ratatouille and clafoutis, all while filling the evening with song and story from her vibrant, international life.
